Meet Up Facilitators:  Jonathan Lyon

About the Meet Up: We will be hosting an hour meeting on how we at NAPD can help you during these extremely challenging times. Starting out the conversation about our anxiety, and strangeness in the COVID-19 times. We will then talk about that you’ve left from law enforcement and want to work as a criminal defense investigator, do you have the right stuff?  Is your prior training a help or a hindrance? Do you have the respect of your fellow investigators? Does the office where you want to work even hire ex law enforcement? Let talk about these challenges and what about the defense attorney not wanting ex law enforcement as part of their team? We may not find all of the answers, but are valid questions to ponder.  Not a new issue, but let's have the conversation!
