Introduction to Self Managed Abortion
September 26, 2019, 12:00 p.m. Eastern, 90 minutes
Webinar Faculty: Yveka Pierre
About the Webinar:
With the criminalization of abortion in the national spotlight, we often discuss the legal landscape for if “Roe” falls. We are already in the reality where punitive state responses are the biggest threat to people who end their pregnancies. The same communities--people of color and low income people--who are targets by structural racism, overcriminalization and over surveillance, are the communities most likely to be targeted for pregnancy related criminalization.
