Still She Rises, Inc. provides free legal representation to pregnant women, women with children, or women who are child caregivers and have been brought into the criminal, child welfare, and housing legal systems. Job Summary
SSR is seeking to hire an Investigator to join our interdisciplinary team of attorneys, client advocates and paralegals.
An Investigator in this position will be responsible for conducting thorough case investigations in order to collect records; serve subpoenas; review evidence, conduct interviews and prepare both written and oral reports in anticipation of litigation, adjudication hearings and jury trials. This position may occasionally require work outside of normal business hours to include nights and weekends and/or overnight travel.
Bilingual Candidates fluent in Spanish/English will receive priority in application processing.

A valid driver's license & proof of insurance

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Ability to complete light to moderate physical work (including lifting/moving objects)

Prior experience in public defense is preferred, but not required.
