Social Worker Specialist
The Oswego County Public Defender’s Office has an immediate opening for a Social Worker Specialist to assess clients’ mental health, possible drug addiction and other social needs in order to help prepare clients for court and to assist clients to avoid situations where they may tend to re-offend.Starting Salary: $54,769 plus competitive benefit package including: health and life insurance; NYS Retirement; and Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Salary negotiable to be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a master’s degree in social work, license as a Master Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker granted by the New York State Education Department and two (2) years of professional social work experience. |
